Zaporizhzhya NPP and the city of Energodar continue to be under the control of the russian military

There are several different enemy groups on the territory of ZNPP: russian soldiers, riot police, the FSB, the so-called "Rosguardia", a group of military Caucasian nationalities - Ossetians, Ingush, Chechens and militants from ORDLO.

Most of the repression is inflicted on the population by the latter, who are on duty at checkpoints - humiliating women, provoking conflicts, demanding money.

The staff of the station is forced to coordinate all actions with the "military commanders" of the occupiers, which was joined by another Rosatom brigade led by the chief engineer of the Rostov NPP.  People are working under constant pressure, while any mistake in the maintenance of the station could lead to a nuclear disaster.

Russia's actions at the Zaporizhzhya NPP and Energodar are a crime against humanity and a war crime as defined in Articles 7 and 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, and an act of nuclear terrorism.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during Russia's military invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of war crimes and crimes against Russia's humanity in Ukraine.
