Commissioner: Since the beginning of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, 85 children have died and about 100 children have been injured

As of 10 a.m. on March 12, 2022, since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 85 children have died and about 100 children have been injured.

To date, it is impossible to establish accurate data on the number of killed and wounded residents of Mariupol, Donetsk region and the city of Irpin in Kyiv region.

Tonight an air bomb hit near one of the largest shrines in Ukraine - Svyatogorsk Lavra in the Donetsk region.  There were 520 refugees in the Lavra, 200 of them children.

The blast damaged the premises where the monastery's servants and refugees live, damaged church buildings and injured them.

A local woman and two of her twin children were injured in the shelling in Severodonetsk.

An attempt to evacuate women and children from the village of Peremoha, Baryshivskyi district, Kyiv region, russian terorists killed seven civilians, including one child.  Russian troops fired on the column and returned the women and children back.

In Zaporozhye, Russian soldiers moved a car in a tank.  As a result, two adult men died and the boy was burned to death in a car.

The actions of the russian occupation forces are a direct violation of the Hague and Geneva Conventions.

I continue to call on international human rights organizations to increase pressure on the Russian Federation to end its military aggression against Ukraine and to help end the military attack on the Russian Federation.

I insist, NATO countries - close the sky !!
