Commissioner: The enemy continues to commit crimes against humanity through the use of weapons of mass destruction

The uncontrolled enemy bombing of the Dinets village, Kharkiv region, killed two civilians, including a 7-year-old child.

As a result of air raid, the aggressor dropped at least 3 unguided bombs on the small village of Dinets in the Kharkiv region.  One of them hit the foundation of a two-story private house on the Didenko street. The house collapsed instantly.

Two people were killed, including a seven-year-old child, and four other civilians were rescued.

To bomb Ukrainian cities, the occupier's aircraft uses unguided free-fall bombs (not high-precision).  This leads to significant losses among the civilian population and the destruction of civilian infrastructure.

The use of weapons of mass destruction against civilians is a crime against humanity and a violation of the four Geneva Conventions of 1949.

Almost no airstrikes have killed children or civilians.

I call on the international community to listen to Ukraine and stop the arbitrary airstrikes of the terrorist state of the Russian Federation on peaceful cities and towns, closing the skies over Ukraine.
