The humanitarian crisis in the occupied Kherson region is deepening due to lack of medicines

Almost all pharmacies in the region have closed due to the inability to supply medicines.  A small number of pharmaceutical companies that are still operating have increased the prices of medicines by 3-5 times.

Due to this, there is a shortage of cardiovascular drugs and antipyretics in the region.

The occupiers are illegally importing drugs into the Kherson region from the temporarily occupied Crimea and selling them in natural local markets.  All medicines are not certified and can endanger human life and health.

The occupiers do not allow volunteers from the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine who are ready to deliver humanitarian aid.  Humanitarian goods are looted and then sold to residents of the temporarily occupied territories.

russia violates the rights of Ukrainians to medical care guaranteed by the Hague and Geneva Conventions.  Such actions are contrary to the provisions of Article 51 of the Additional Protocol to the Geneva Convention of 12 August 1949.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during the russian Military Invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of human rights violations in Ukraine.
