Commissioner: in Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, racists destroyed all critical infrastructure - genocide

Rashists are turning Ukrainian cities and villages into uninhabitable territories.

Enemy shelling destroyed Severodonetsk's critical infrastructure in the Luhansk region and left its residents without gas.

The rashists fired artillery and volley fire systems at the city during the day.  As a result of hitting the main gas pipeline, it was depressurized.  In order to prevent a more serious accident, all gas distribution stations were closed.

Gas supply remained the only communication in the city.  Due to enemy shelling, electricity and water supply in Severodonetsk have been absent since the end of April.

The city has about 7,000 residents, mostly elderly people, who find it difficult to persuade them to leave Severodonetsk.

Such actions of the Russian Federation are genocide of the Ukrainian people in accordance with the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide and Article 6 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during the Russian Military Invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of committing crimes of genocide and human rights violations in Ukraine.
