Russian terrorist forces destroy peaceful Ukrainians and Ukrainian cities

The tortured and burned bodies of two civilians were found in the Izium district of Kharkiv region.

After the liberation of the village of Husarivka, Izium district, from russian troops, the bodies of two men and women were found in the basement of one of the houses: during the occupation, russian soldiers tortured them and then burned their bodies.

On April 22, the russian occupiers again fired on the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv and the region.  In Korotych, as a result of shelling by the occupiers, a fire broke out in one of the warehouses, 6 people were injured and 1 died.

The shelling continued in Chuhuiv district, Barvinkovo   district, Izium region.  In total, the occupiers inflicted 56 blows from artillery, rocket-propelled grenades and mortars in the region during the day.

As a result of shelling by the russian occupiers in the region, 19 civilians were injured, 7 of them in Kharkiv.  2 people died.

On April 22, russian shelling killed three other civilians in the Donetsk region: in Marinka, Zeleny Pole, and Novoselivka Druha.  In addition, seven were injured.

Twelve times the russian army fired on the housing infrastructure of Luhansk region during the day.

The hardest situation is in the  city Popasna.  Just yesterday, locals withstood five enemy artillery attacks.  In the evening, a 66-year-old man was killed and his wife was injured.  Another man also received non-life-threatening injuries.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy continues to shell the settlements on the border with the Kherson region.

Today Velyka Kostromka, Mala Shesternya and a number of others were fired upon, no one was killed.

Rockets struck on Nikolaev, the coastal cafe was destroyed, windows in surrounding high-rise buildings were broken.

The killing of civilians, shelling of civilian cities and civilian objects by the aggressor army is war crimes and crimes against humanity under

Articles 7 and 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and gross violation of the four Geneva Conventions of 1949 and its Additional Protocols.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during Russia's military invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of crimes and human rights violations in Ukraine.

I call on international partners to close the skies over Ukraine and provide weapons to fight the aggressor country of Russia!
