Commissioner: Russia forcibly certifies citizens of Ukraine who were deported to the temporarily occupied Crimea

Compulsory certification of Ukrainian citizens forcibly deported to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol from Kherson and Zaporizhia oblasts continues.

The occupying authorities of the peninsula once again took another picture for the propaganda television of the racists, showing how 10 people who came to the Crimea from the temporarily occupied areas of mainland Ukraine, received russian Auschwitz under a simplified system.

Citizens of Ukraine forcibly relocated to the peninsula are being "explained" about the need to obtain a racist red card, as they will not be allowed to live in Crimea without "identity documents".

Also, our citizens end up in filtration camps, where they take away the passports of Ukrainian citizens and issue a document for temporary residence.

I emphasize that all Ukrainians who were forcibly granted russian Auschwitz are citizens of Ukraine.  Our state does not recognize any russian documents imposed by Russia.

By his actions, the occupier continues to violate the provisions of the IV Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during the Russian Military Invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of human rights violations in Ukraine.
