Rashists establish a regime of brutal terror in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine

In the suburban villages of Chernihiv, the invaders place their equipment between houses, intimidate people, and seize food.

In the Okhtyrka district in the villages, russian terrorists drove people out of houses, mocked them, took away food, broke phones and set fire to houses.  All men are taken from some settlements in an unknown direction.

In the Kherson region, russian militants fired on civilians in the village of  Parishevo Belozersky district.  A 74-year-old pensioner received a gunshot wound to the chest and three bullets hit a 16-year-old boy.

Under the ruined drama theater in Mariupol - about 1,000 people are under the rubble.  It is impossible to provide an ambulance, as the occupiers destroyed all equipment.

The Azovstal plant was completely destroyed by bombing in the city of Mariupol.

As a result of volley fire on residential areas of Kramatorsk 26 civilians were wounded, two were killed.  9 high-rise buildings, a school, a bank and two administrative buildings were destroyed.

So far, 464 educational institutions in Ukraine have been damaged by shelling and bombing, 64 of which have been completely destroyed.  During the last 24 hours, 24 educational institutions were damaged and one was destroyed.

In the Luhansk region, the occupiers fired on a hospital in Lysychansk.  In total, they fired ten shells.  The hospital and nearby residential buildings were left without windows.  Information about the victims is being clarified.  Rescue services are working on the site.

Local officials are being abducted by Russian terrorists from their jobs.  Yesterday, the mayor of the Velykoburlutsk community of Kharkiv region Viktor Tereshchenko was kidnapped.

Today Oleksandr Zarivny, an employee of the Oleshkiv City Council of the Kherson Region, was abducted.

The taking of civilian hostages and the terror of the population of the occupied territories are a direct violation of Articles 3 and 34 of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, Articles 9 and 21 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and Article 5 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

I call on the international community to take decisive action to deter the aggression of the Russian Federation and to force the aggressor country to immediately cease hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.
