Commissioner: we have indisputable confirmations of the forced and planned deportation of Ukrainian citizens to Russia

As of the morning of May 21, russia had deported 1,377,925 people, including 232,480 children.

For the last day - 17,306, including 2,213 children.

russia's statements about the alleged voluntary relocation of Ukrainians are not true.  We have indisputable evidence of forced and pre-planned deportation.

One more evidence is a video published by Mariupol Mayor's adviser Petro Andryushchenko.  This record shows the real picture of the deportation of Mariupol residents.

People are surrounded by the russian military with machine guns, outraged and scared.  The rashists do not allow the so-called "evacuation" to leave the place.

They are forced to get on buses and only when boarding are informed that they will be taken to the "filtration camp" in Bezymenny, Novoazovsk district, and then to russia.

According to very approximate data, more than 32,000 citizens passed through this camp alone.  It is impossible to determine how many of them ended up in torture chambers in the temporarily occupied territories due to "disloyalty" to the russian invaders and a "special operation".

By its actions, the occupying country of russia grossly violates the provisions of Article 49 of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, which prohibits the forced relocation or deportation of persons from the occupied territories.

Deportation and forcible transfer of population is a crime against humanity under Article 7 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during russia's military invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of russia's crimes against humanity and human rights violations in Ukraine
